School in Dimapur today, as the Don Bosco Sports Academy was inaugurated amidst much anticipation and excitement. This landmark initiative commenced with the introduction of the Don Bosco Football Academy, a pioneering effort by the Salesians of Don Bosco, aiming to nurture budding talents in the realm of sports. The genesis of the Don Bosco Football Academy traces back to the Strategic Planning and Consultation for Salesian Apostolate (SPCSA) meeting held on 26 February 2021, where the green light was given to establish

Itanagar, 9 July 2023: The grand opening ceremony of the 5th Junior Boys National Boxing Championship 2023 commenced today at Don Bosco College Jollang in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Shri Pema Khandu, the Hon’ble Chief Minister; Shri Mama Natung, the Hon’ble Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs; Shri Taba Tedir, the Hon’ble Minister of Education; Shri Hemanta Kumar Kalita, Secretary General of the Boxing Federation of India, along with other dignitaries, participants, coaches, and invitees.The Championship, organized by the Boxing Federation of India, is on in Don Bosco College, Itanagar
