Ferdinand Dkhar (59) as the Bishop of Jowai on Saturday, 8 July 2023. Fr. Ferdinand Dkhar, born on 26 February 1962 in Longkaluh within the Diocese of Jowai, has an impressive background in theological studies. Benny Varghese Edathattel’s appointment as the second Bishop of Itanagar by His Holiness, Pope Francis, has sparked jubilation in Itanagar, Kohima, and other places.
